Public restroom mirrors have a range of needs that they need to meet in order to be acceptable. Public bathroom mirrors have a number of different criteria that the owner of the restroom needs have met. Obviously the first one is that they give a straight and unwarped reflection so that bathroom users can see themselves clearly. Secondly it needs to be easy to clean and not be prone to bad hygiene e.g. rough surface which would harbor germs. Thirdly public restroom mirrors needs to be strong and not prone to shattering and damage. Finally they should unreceptive to graffiti and pen markings, i.e. graffiti can be easily cleaned off.

Firstly making sure that the mirror gives a straight and true reflection really lies in the quality of the mirror construction. If the mirror has been case in a level and balanced frame then the image it reflects should be fine. However some cheaper mirrors do have kinks and certain spots that do not reflect absolutely straightly.

This second point is probably one of the most important when it comes to bathroom mirror selection. Hygiene and the ease of cleaning need to be taken care of when selecting public restroom mirrors. This is because the spread of germs needs to be maintained in a place where they are so active. A good surface that is very easily cleaned and does not harbor germs very well is stainless steel. There are actually highly polished stainless steel mirrors which were created because of these issues. They are easily wiped clean and their non absorbent surface means germs do not get into micro-grains and cracks in the surface. This is the reason that stainless steel mirrors are often used in hospitals.

Strength and durability also comes into the equation with equal importance to hygiene. This is because the public’s safety is directly in the hands of the restroom operator. Therefore everything that can be done should be done to protect their safety. The mirror should be shatterproof, crack proof and be fixed to the wall in a secure manner. Sometimes public restroom mirrors are subject to violent attack from vandals and thugs, so this needs to be protected against. Standard glass mirrors will shatter under pressure and create dangerous shards. Therefore the public restroom mirrors need to be constructed from strengthened material. This can include galvanized float glass or acrylic material. These are up to ten times stronger than standard mirror glass.

Finally there is also a risk of graffiti on public restroom mirrors. Quite often there are people who like to target public bathrooms due to their low level of surveillance. The fight against this problem usually has to be reactive rather than proactive. This means cleaning off graffiti as best as possible, This can be done successfully with having fittings that are less receptive to holding graffiti permanently. So public restroom mirrors should be easy to scrub and not hold graffiti. Stainless steel mirrors are very appropriate for this task. As they do not hold foreign material very well and it can be easily wiped off.

Vehicle inspection mirrors are great for inspecting the undersides of your machines, trucks, and cars among other things. They may also be used to inspect traffic and auto emission as well as at military check points and airport security. These mirrors range from handheld lightweight to light and caster wheels.

Various types of vehicle inspection mirrors are available. Few of them are handheld whereas others can be mounted on walls. They are available as flat mirrors are convex mirrors in various sizes, with a variety of mirrors with lights and wheels. A much sharper view is provided by flat mirrors whereas convex mirrors give a viewing area that is larger and wider. It comes in very handy when you have to inspect around and under a vehicle.

Whenever a vehicle is being inspected, there are oftentimes areas which you cannot view without using external equipment. In such cases, a vehicle inspection mirror is very useful. It is made with a handle that is short and can be easily held, an adjustable mirror head, and some of them even have a light. You can use them to view almost any area of the vehicle you wish to inspect, even those which are dark, and difficult to reach.

A few vehicle inspection mirrors are ergonomically made to allow more functional and comfortable usage. They are designed with handles which you may rest your elbows on in order to make carriage and movement easy. Vehicle inspection mirrors are important when it comes to viewing areas which are hard to see and they are great for general inspections in areas of high security and in areas in which direct inspection is impossible. Usually, they are very hard-wearing and offer efficient use, and have mirror heads which can be adjusted in order to view all areas of the machine or vehicle. It enables you to view around, on top, as well as underneath. Use it to protect your business with the added security it provides. Enforcement agencies, armed services, building maintenance, engineers, and security guards also use vehicle inspection mirrors.

Vehicle inspection mirrors are also used for detecting smuggled goods, contraband, and bombs under trucks, cars, vehicles, and cars. These mirrors are vital and add some sense of protection and security for customers, employees, as well as yourself. If you intend to buy any of these equipment you should check out some websites and reviews on them and ensure that you buy them from somewhere of good repute.

All of these vehicle inspection mirrors are able to help increase your security. If you do decide to use one, you will need to assess the amount of training your staff will need, if you want to capture every action on the cameras, and the mirror that best suits your needs.

Why do some companies succeed in safety and other’s do not?
Is it due to the high tech brand new equipment they bought?

Could it be they are aliens from a planet that is strange?
Or is it something else that brings about their change?

Exec’s of these companies upon hearing our ponder
Would raise up their arm and point over yonder

To an object not far which hangs high up on the wall
Where eyes meet eyes and dreams rise and fall

The answer to your question must be thrown back as a query
To the intentions you have which make your employees leery

Is it to save money or face and look good for the boss?
Or are you truly concerned with the potential for loss?

Of employees that work hard and loyal to the bone
as well those quiet ones that just wish to be alone

Workers that are new, Workers with a clue

Workers that old, And workers with a cold

Follow leaders who care and have passion
Not those who follow the trends and hot fashions

The answer you seek is not a needle in the hay
The answer you seek you see everyday

Beneath the creased and pressed tan docker pants
Stands a person who hears “can” and never the “cant’s”

Have noble intentions and care for your staff
Smile and be jolly and share an occasional laugh

For those that do, the answer becomes clear
It’s the reflection off the object, and your face will appear

It begins with you and the commitment you bring
and the rewards of safety will be no fleeting thing

From ratios to profits, the gains you will see
Will not compare to your employee’s joyful glee

To walk in their home without a twist, break, or strain

This is the goal you must set and attain.
